Research Experience:
Tao Lin received B.E., M.E., and PhD degrees from Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Wuhan, China, in 1991, 1994, and 1997, respectively. He joined Central China Power Group Co., Wuhan, China, as an R&D Engineer in 1997. From May 2000 to July 2005, he was with Nagasaki University, Japan, University of Bath, the U.K., and University of Florida, USA as research fellows. From 2005, he is a full professor at the School of Electrical Engineering, Wuhan University, Wuhan, China. His research fields are power system operation and control, power quality analysis and control, power system protection and relaying.
