Title
Towards Higher Penetration of Renewable Challenge and Opportunities
Abstract
In this large-scale, long-term, investment intensive transition, low carbon policies and environmental regulations play a major role on the power system operation, planning and power markets. The uncertainties in carbon price have been widely acknowledged as the number one risk for power infrastructure investments. This talk will focus on deepen the understanding of how the environmental regulations and low carbon polices influence the operation, planning and markets for power systems in different counties.
